About Millie

the face behind the words
Millie is a 25 year old primary school teacher with a passion for all things creative.
Millie studied an English Literature degree at the University of Reading before completing her PGCE in Primary Education. Whilst at university, Millie became Print Editor for The Spark, the university's student publication. Millie also founded The Collective Mag, a student-run magazine for young journalists to gain experience in the industry. During this time, Millie regularly wrote for a variety of publications.
When she's not writing or teaching, Millie might be rehearsing! She has been involved with the performing arts from a very young age. Millie has trained with the Pauline Quirke Academy in musical theatre and drama, whilst regularly performing with local organisations.
More recently, Millie has begun writing for pleasure, sharing thoughts and ideas in the forms of poems. She also enjoys being artistic - drawing, painting, sketching!
